The lights were set, friends and family were ready, and then...the changing of the shoes. Enter Ashley for the celebration of her Sweet 16!
All of Ashley's closest friends and family gathered together for mass to celebrate her ascension into womanhood, and it was a special thing to see. The priest spoke very warmly and affectionately of Ashley, and her friends had nothing but nice things to say about her.
The ceremony went off perfectly, and so did the reception. There were so many people who could dance like crazy, I couldn't believe it! Made me want to pay them for some dancing lessons!
It was awesome for me to see how close Ashley is to her parents, and to see how much they all love each other. It made for a wonderful evening.
